FKRemovals provides professional removal and transportation services including but not limited to:

• Furniture delivery

• Parcel delivery

• Heavy item transport

• Long-distance removals

All services are subject to availability and confirmation.

Booking & Quotations

• Quotes provided are based on the information given by the customer

• Final pricing may change if additional items, stairs, distance, or time requirements differ from original booking

• Bookings are only confirmed once agreed by both parties

• Customers must provide accurate details including pickup and drop-off addresses, item list, and access conditions

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

• Ensuring all items are properly packed unless packing service is requested

• Providing correct addresses and contact details

• Ensuring parking access for the van where possible

• Informing us about stairs, lifts, or access restrictions

• Ensuring fragile or valuable items are clearly identified

Failure to provide accurate information may result in additional charges.

Payment Terms

• Payment must be made as agreed at booking confirmation

• We may request deposits for large or long-distance moves

• Payment methods may include bank transfer, cash, or other agreed options

• Full payment must be completed upon job completion unless otherwise agreed

Late payments may result in additional charges.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations made 24 hours or more before booking may not incur charges

• Same-day cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee

• Deposits paid may be non-refundable depending on notice period

• Rescheduling is subject to availability

We reserve the right to cancel bookings due to unforeseen circumstances including vehicle breakdown, weather conditions, or staff availability.

Delays & Waiting Time

• Waiting time may be charged if delays occur outside of our control

• Delays may include customer not ready, parking issues, or restricted access

• Traffic delays and weather conditions may affect estimated arrival times

We always aim to arrive on time but cannot guarantee exact timings due to external factors.

Insurance & Liability

• We take reasonable care when handling your belongings

• Basic goods in transit insurance may be provided where applicable

• We are not responsible for:

  • Items not properly packed by customers

  • Fragile items not declared

  • Mechanical or electrical items unless proven damaged by us

  • Cash, jewellery, documents, or high-value items

Customers are encouraged to arrange additional insurance for valuable items.

Damage Claims

• Any damage must be reported within 24 hours of service completion

• Claims must include evidence such as photos

• Claims submitted after 24 hours may not be accepted

• Compensation is subject to assessment and insurance terms

Prohibited Items

We do not transport:

• Illegal items

• Hazardous materials

• Flammable substances

• Explosives

• Perishable food without prior agreement

• Animals (unless agreed in advance)

We reserve the right to refuse transportation of unsafe items.

Access Requirements

Customers must ensure:

• Safe access to property

• Suitable parking for van

• Permission for restricted areas if required

Additional charges may apply if long carrying distances or stairs are involved.

Force Majeure

FKRemovals is not responsible for delays or failure to perform due to:

• Traffic accidents

• Severe weather

• Road closures

• Vehicle breakdown

• Natural disasters

• Government restrictions

We will attempt to reschedule where possible.
